Project Overview
This site was already running on solar but the original battery bank had reached the end of its service life. We kept the existing inverter arrangement and rebuilt the storage side around two LVTOPSUN 51.2V 100Ah LiFePO₄ power walls, giving 10.24kWh of usable capacity in a fraction of the floor space the old bank occupied. The power walls are wall-mounted on a raised plinth, clear of the floor, with the DC side protected by breakers and surge arrestors and an emergency stop within reach of the doorway. Each unit carries its own display, so the owner can read state of charge at a glance without opening an app. Lithium chemistry means the bank can be worked to a far deeper discharge than the batteries it replaced, so the usable energy gained is considerably more than the headline capacity suggests.
