Project Overview

A clean, contained backup installation for a residential client who wanted the equipment tidy enough to live alongside. The inverter-charger is wall-mounted beneath the distribution board and charge controller, with the cable runs carried in surface trunking so every circuit stays traceable for future servicing. The battery bank sits on a fabricated two-tier steel rack, four deep-cycle units wired into a 48V string. Raising the batteries off the floor keeps them clear of any water ingress, lets air circulate on all sides, and puts the terminals at a comfortable working height for maintenance. The whole system occupies a single corner of the room and runs silently.
